Persians are known for their etherial beauty and make wonderful, loving companions. They are often referred to as the Aristocrats of the Cat Fancy, with their sweet, pansy-like expressions and beautiful flowing coats. However, they are what we refer to as a "high maintenance" breed, because they do require regular grooming and the occassional bath to keep them looking nice. I am currently working on a a "Care and Maintenance" section on my site to help my buyers with this task.
My kittens are lovingly raised in a clean, healthy environment, with plenty of love and attention from the time they are born. They are first confined to the nursery along with their mothers until they have had at least their first vaccination at 8-10 weeks of age. Afterwards they are allowed out into the remainder of the house under supervision. They are accustomed to the normal noise and bussel of a household. My kittens are used to being groomed, bathed, having their nails trimmed on a regular basis, as well as held and cuddled often. By the time they are ready to leave, they are well socilized and of course are completely spoiled!
They leave with at least 2 vaccinations against Rhinotracheitis, Calici virus and Panleukopenia, at a minimum of 12 weeks of age, are litterbox trained, vet checked and come with a written health guarantee in the form of a Breeding/Show or Non-breeding (Pet) contract. I encourage my buyers to keep in touch and I am always available for advice.
Shipping is available, although I prefer to meet as many new parents as possible. I am experienced in International shipping. All shipping expenses, including the cost of the carrier to ship the kitten or cat in, airfare, rabies shot & microchip (if required) are the responsibility of the buyer.
Please keep in mind that buying a pet means you must be willing to commit to owning that pet for the durations of its life. In the case of cats, that could mean 15-20 yrs. Be sure to consult with your family members before writing to me to inquire about purchasing a kitten or cat to ensure you are all willing to make that commitment. And please, include some information about yourself, including where you live, your family circumstances, whether you have any other pets, what your expectations are for a new cat and any preferences you may have with respect to sex or color. I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Deposits are required to Hold or Reserve a Kitten or Cat. Please note that all deposits are Non-Refundable, in case you change your mind.
